Can't specify layers or properties |

AutoCAD has randomly started doing something strange. Whenever I click and highlight something it does not show me what layer the object is in, and it does not allow me to change any properties. It hightlights fine. And I can click and drag the object, change its dimensions by moving the little blue boxes around, but I can't access any properties. Any clue? Please help.

Try setting PICKFIRST to 1

I got the same problem here recently (yesterday)
I am searching, but found nothing yet :-(
I suspect a windows related problem when migrating from W2K to windows XP
Did you find how to correct this?
Otherwise, we need an expert...
