That's what I have been doing a long time !!
(for ease of modifing, just trying to be productive in creating a
associate leader with user arrow, so that its easier to stretch when the

location is changed. Like the reguar leader with arrow. Once its exploded,
you either have to redraw it or twicked it to make it look right everytime
the leader is moved or stretched)

I'm missing something. Once XPLAN is exploded it works like a
(disassociated) leader, but plot/visibility is consistent. If you don't
explode XPLAN then you have the plot/visibilty issue but its just a static
chunk of lines and text, and has no real value as a leader. Right?

Right! But then you dont want to explode xplans, whats the purpose to xref in the first place.

Exactly, like I said I must be missing something. What IS the purpose of
blocking your leaders??

I am not blocking the leaders.
The leaders with the user arrow are been drawn on a plan as is.
Then that plan is been xrefed into another drawing. And that's where the issue occurs.
The same thing happens when its been blocked (for an example). No problem with any other blocks, just user arrow!

lol, tell you what, I gave you an answer that works 100% of the time in your
first post on the topic.

It may not be the answer you like, or wish for, or dream about, but hey,
life's tough that way.

Autodesk direct and your reseller are excellent folks to have examine your
other possible solution in depth.

Enjoy your threads.

Wel,l Dean, no it doesn't. It only works in those cases you wish to freeze the entire block or xref, which is nearly never. Maybe google is the answer... sheesh.
