Is there any way to bring up ( in V8) the Precision Input box which
allows you to enter an angle and distance (in SE) by the key-in
"dialog precision"
Changing the Coordinate System to Polar in Accudaw settings does
not work and will not let me enter an angle such as N 10^23'33"W
TIA

It seems that they have dropped this tool in V8.

If you change your coordinate readout, angle mode to Bearing, format to
DD MM SS and accuracy to 0.12 You should be good to go.

Although, I have found that entering bearings and distances manually to
be very susceptible to errors. So i try using a COGO program instead.
With V8, you should have access to the engineering configurations,
which means you can run the InRoads Civil Extension and use one of its
ICS input files to batch import lines points and figures, and get nice
reports confirming the input and output.
