Hello There:

I will start a job soon where they use AutoCad,
they are cabinet makers.
I was wondering if anyone in this group has basic kitchen cabinet drawings
so I can get somewhat familiar with it before I go to my new job.

Thank you in advance.

Lo

Ask your new employer for samples, it would show initiative and eagerness to
start work immediately.

Not knowing what country you're in, hard to make suggestions. In the US, visit a home center such as Home Depot, Loewes, etc, and browse the cabinet department with a tape measure and sketch pad.

Go on line and do a search on Google for manufactured cabinets and down load CADD files if available.

Go to the web site of the AWI, American Woodworking Institute and browse their standards. Most custom cabinet makers in the US manufacture their products following AWI standards.

Hope this helps and good luck in your new job.

If you can find a copy of an old Architectural Graphics Standards or Time-Saver Standards (new ones are pretty expensive) there is a lot of usefuly information in those.
