Hello again:

I have given up on trying to extract my airfoil data points using EXCEL, and have started using SCRIPT files, by manually copying them into notepad.

Everything works except a for a weird problem.

If you look at an aircraft wing from the front, you have a left and right wing. Let's call the wing on the left positive and the right side negative of the fuselage center.

Whenever I plot the airfoils using the SPLINE command for the right side, I get great results.

When I plot the right or negative side, it goes to pot.

I have attached the script file.

Please note that the attached file is actually two files.

Other than the NEGATIVE "Z" axis, everything else remains the same.

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks for your time in advance

Tony

SPLINES are directional, try MIRROR command perhaps for the second one?

Hi;

As stated when i tried to enter the negative side of my airfoil, everything went to pot.

THIS WAS THE FRONT VIEW

Frustrated, it dawned on me that I could swap views and instead of entering a negative "Z" axis,
I only had to reverse VIEW to BACK.

Now I just enter my "X" axis number as negative values, but leave my "Z" axis values as positive and it works.
