Actually, ACAD by itself cannot plot to PDF (you need additional software to do that). You can, however, produce a PDF file from
MicroStation without having to purchase additional software. In fact, with the V8.5.2 release of MicroStation, you can produce 3D
PDF files that can be viewed using Acrobat Reader 7.0.
