I think what he's saying Walt, is that he can do that, but when it comes time to PASTE, there's nothing on the clipboard.

Leveritt, can you paste the text into WORD or WORDPAD? Is it just the MTEXT editor that fails or everything else?

It has to be something to do with the text screen and command line, in
that any text copied to Windows clipboard never gets there. Whenever I
try to paste what has been copied to clipboard, the paste command is
grayed out (Ctrl+V doesn't work either). I'm able to copy text and
objects to Windows clipboard from the graphics screen dialog boxes with
out problems. I'm also able to copy and paste from other Windows
applications into the Autocad graphics screen dialog boxes without
problems.
