printing only text outline |
|
|
Does anyone know why I can only print the outline of all my text? It shows up on the screen as a solid letter, but when I print/plot the drawing only the outline of the letter will print (the print preview also only shows an outline). This happens with all the text, regardless of whether it is single-line or multi-line, and regardless of the font. And it is not isolated to one drawing...it happens to all drawings that I open on my computer. Another strange thing is that this problem happened a couple of months ago...after always printing as a solid letter, one random day it just started printing outlines, and then weeks later it just starting printing normal again. The same thing is happening again now...any ideas?

RJimenez,
This is my reply to a similar post, that was just posted yesterday, subject:
Text solid fills (please try and use the Search facilities of these
discussion groups or the Find funtion of your newsreader)
Make sure of these settings...
SHADEMODE is set to 2D
TEXTFILL is set to 1
FILL is set to 1
MVIEW's HIDEPLOT is not ON for the viewport
Uncheck "Hide Objects" in the Plot Dialog Box

Isn't ctrl-c ctrl-v great ;-) You could probably do that for 90% of these
posts now :-)
