My system freez when i import some image files if they are quite heavy, the
same files, in the same pc have no problems with photoshop or coreldraw 9.
my system configuration :
P4 3,2
1 gbram
2 hd hitachi mirrored by lsi sata controller
vga ati radeon 9200se
win xp sp1

AutoCAD does not handle image files well: it's not Photoshop or Coreldraw.
Most likely you are running out of Windows Resources: look up the term in
Windows help and ways to increase that... .

R2000 is not supported in WInXP.
