For a purchase of a network seat of Civil 3D Pro, does the license file have
a single entry for Civil 3D 2005 or will it have three entries for Civil 3D
2005, Land Desktop 2005, and Civil Design 2005?

Asked another way...

Will Land Desktop 2005 (as part of a Civil 3D Pro Purchase) use a Civil 3D
2005 license or will it use a Land Desktop 2005 license?

Thanks,

This year, I got three license files. One for LDD, one for CD, and
one for C3D. The C3D license file was a "Not for resale" companion
license. This may have been a special case, as I already had an
installed base and wanted consistent licensing. I spoke with someone
in the licensing callcenter, and this is what we ended up with. At
the time, C3D was quite new to her as well.

Talking to my reseller, my understanding is that next time I go to
request license files this will be reversed (companion seats for the
two "legacy" products and real licenses for the C3D product)

I'd be happy to hear clarification on this as well.

Jason
