When I try to add a common dialog control to a userform, I
get the message "the control could not be created because it is not properly
licensed"

It look like to me that i dont have properly licensed to use
commondialog....

Is anyway i can add commondialog?

Thank for your help

Yes, use the windows API function GetOpenFileName. I prefer this than using the common dialog control. Here is a link to an API reference page, http://www.pietschsoft.com/programming/vbapi/ref/index.html. Hope it helps.

Search the ng or read one of my columns if HJohn's advice doesn't get you
going. Rule of thumb is that if the control is not in the toolbox, you
can't use it unless you bought it or downloaded it.
