I'm trying to plot a set of plot files a client sent us. I tried the

Copy filename.plt lpt1 command and nothing

How can i plot these files? They were created in ADT 3.0

The plot file should have to be created for your plotter. If it was
created using a different plot driver, it will most likely not work.

Also, is your plotter on LPT1?

The software version does not matter.

Let me rephrase that mess....

The plot file should have been created using the correct driver for your
plotter.

There are freebie Windows software that can send plt file to the correct
port.

From your description, your plt files may not be compatible with your
plotter/printer: PLT is not a static format like GIF or JPG, they need to be
created exactly for your plotter/printer only.

Your other option is to BUY a 3rd party plot file reader that can handle
most plt file formats and then print/plot as needed: google search those
too, remember to try before you buy.
