In acad 2000, I insert a block and then return through the insert command to
get another and
it defaults back to the top of the acad 2000 file directory in the program
file directory,
forcing me to find the block library again. Happens everytime. Is there sys.
variable to set to make it default back to the file where I took the last
block in the same way that the "open" command defaults to the last opened
drawing file?

TIA
JH

Hey JH;

Look here...
http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/ps/item?siteID=123112&id=2880403&linkID=2475323

At one firm I had a series of Quick Launch icons to enable me to go to
whatever Project Year folder I needed for the particular set of revisions of
the hour, using the scenario described in the link.

Don,
ACAD 2000 doesn't want to recognize the command. No big deal. were switching
to ADT 2005 withing 30
days, no bother with wasting time correcting it.

your right down the road, I'm in bellevue.

Hey Jeff;

I wasn't sure if your quote of "acad 2000" might have been indicating the
"i" version or not, since that's where the command was instituted. But I
thought I would at least give it a shot.

There are significant improvements between the two versions, but of course -
2005 comes with its own set of glitches. Just check that DG - they are
already over 17000 total posts!

Good Luck with it.
