making 2d drawings look sketched |
|
|
Anyone know of an autocad plugin that makes 2d drawings looked sketched? One
specifically that we used to have had a command called "drunk." What this
plugin did was you were actually able to select which lines you wanted to
look sketched then it would break up each line and turn it into a variable
amount of segments, and would over extend lines as well. Any clue on what
this plugin was? I'm kicking myself in the rear having lost it.
everybody wang chung tonight,

Matias -
Do a search on the discussion groups using the term "squiggle"
without the "" and see if this is what you want. Only a
suggestion from reading past messages.
The discussion group search engine provides flexibility for
searching through existing message content. To search:
1. Go to http://discussion.autodesk.com/
2. Select a product (Example: AutoCAD).
3. Type your keywords into the search box and click Search. Note:
You can further refine your query by selecting a specific
discussion group from the dropdown provided. Your group choices
will vary in the drop down, based on where you have navigated on
the discussion group site.
Search results are sorted by relevance (a complex query of all
relevant content based on your keywords and group choices).
Clicking on the message result will display the entire thread
(the series of messages and replies). Clicking on the Post date
will sort the results by date with most recent first.

Hey Matias;
I went down this same road last month, and I think you've already found what
you need in Freehand.

ADT, not any other version of AutoCAD, has NAPKIN command.
Squiggle and others are external programs that work on plot files, not dwg:
apart from that lisp (and some others), not much else will do such things
inside a DWG file.
You can also buy more professional tools like Sketchup.
