hi guys new to the group and i have a project to do this week but i am wondering can i put an (bitmap etc) image on the backround of cad and draw over it , ive tried -tools-display image-view-the image appears on the screen but once i scroll or zoom it disappears can anyone tell me how to do this yours sincerly nmx

Make a Layer for the image (or images), use the IMAGE command, which has an
ATTACH button withing the dialog box (which is the same as doing an
IMAGEATTACH command).

You might have to SCALE the image once it is attached... make note of the
IMAGEFRAME command as you need to select the image by it's frame (read: you
need to turn ON the IMAGEFRAME)

There is an Express Tool called TFRAMES which will toggle these on/off, I am
not sure if you have Express Tools available.
