Send your client .dwf files and have them download the free viewer from
autodesk.
http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/item?siteID=123112&id=4424149

Bentley also has a viewer but it is a large download.
http://www.bentley.com/en-US/Products/Bentley+View/
Once installed however it will allow them to view & plot AutoCad and
MicroStation files.

Numerous other viewers are out there, try a google search for more.

Last time I looked, not all that long ago, Volo View was no longer free.

Bentley View mostly works, but it doesn't correctly show or print '%%c', etc,
and doesn't seem to be getting along well with XP, at least for my one XP user.

Cute writer will plot pdf files. It is a shareware program.

If someone needs to view or plot a drawing and if they don't have acad or
Volo, I send them a pdf file. It works!

Acrobat viewer is a free download.

Somehow I don't think it will read 2004 drawings.

You still can download the free version of Volo View Express from various
places

try

http://cgi.jasoni.plus.com/download.php?choice=General%20CAD

these are authorised autodesk sellers, and this is what we use to distribute
our dwgs, and it works a treat

Ok, try this:
1. Make a file that is convient to find and lable it "dwg to send" or what
ever.
2. Place desired drawing into file.
3. Winzip the file then email it.
All the reeiver has to do is unzip it , view it, redue the process..and
walla! your back in business.
