Loaded the subject MDL while in a file with lots of references
attached and display on. The autosnap does not work on any of the
referenced in info. Just the active file itself.

Is this the way it supposed to work??

Not sure but if you open the reference dialog is 'snap' on for the files?

Yep, that was the first thing I looked at.
Forgot to mention that all files are 3d if it makes a difference.
