Hello all,
I want to know if there is a way to bind elements to a table in
microstation version "J". I have a ton of wetlands points that I want
to associate to a table and I'm looking for the most efficient way to
do this. Thanks in andvance for any assistance.

Yes, MicroStation has the capability to link any element to database
records.
If you have a lot then some sort of automation sounds good.
Are each of the points represented by something unique like text, or
co-ordinates that can be used to unambiguously find the correct table record
to link to?

To start off you could put them all into a selection set and then from

the annotation tools export coordinates.
This would create an ascii text file with coordinates for each point.
Then you could import that into an access database...
Then you would have unique ids or primary keys and xy coords for each
point ... now you some how link this to a microstation data base linkage
and the actual graphic elements too
Pretty easy to do in a GIS package... not so easy in ustn let alone J...
Checkout the help there is a lot on databases and also www.askinga.com
there were tutorials awhile ago
