Why is it that Smartmatch, a tool that provides what would otherwise be
immediate mode services, operates in graphic mode. In other words, why cant
you run Smartmatch concurrently with a graphic command?

I have a user command that does that, and in spite of its other
eccentricities I find it is more convenient to use than Smartmatch.

Thanks Inga,

But it doesn't work in v8.05. hmmm...
Ever since they killed of user commands Microstation has seemed quite
backward. Its amazing how a bunch of user written utilities can mask inept
development.

You mean InfoSnap. Yes, to a small degree.

BTW, if you haven't tried InfoSnap V8 yet, you may want to. Badly.
