dimension association lock |

When i put dimensions in my drawing i place them allways with my association
lock off. Now is there a way that I can undo this, i mean, when the
dimension is placed , can i turn the association lock back on?

Hi Nath,
When you place a dimension with Association Lock, what is happening
is not what you are assuming here. The Association Lock tells the dimesion
tool to tag the dimensioned element with unique ID and use this ID to attach
the dimesion. In other words you have TWO objects available at this moment,
and BOTH are tagged (so, they are 'connected' through shared ID).
When you dimension WITHOUT Association Lock, the dimension is placed
WITHOUT any relation whatsoever to dimensioned object.
So, there is no magic semaphore which would be able to tell your (now) stand-alone
dimension object what it was supposed to dimension once upon the time.
In short, therefore the answer is: NO.
