Does anyone know of an accudraw short cut key in to temporarily suspend
accudraw? Used to be in MStoys.ma, but I cannot fine that anymore.

Hello Donna,
Another version of mstoys, called robstoys.ma, is available from
www.ustation.se - scroll to bottom for robstoys (and manual). robstoys is
equivalent to mstoys - the manual (robstoys.txt) includes intructions for
editing the accudraw shortcuts. Put the robstoys.ma in the same dir as
accudraw.ma - <bentleyroot>\Program\MicroStation\mdlsys\required\. Although
the d/l is labeled for v95 & SE, it works fine in all J versions - but NOT
in v8. IIRC, robstoys includes the undocumented keyin <mvlv=n> where n is a
1- or 2-digit level # - it moves the currently selected element(s) to the
desired level without making the new level active. Remember to deselect
(<choose none>)after use, otherwise the selection remains active, even if
the elements were moved to an undisplayed level.
Be sure to grab InfoSnap (for v7 or v8) as well!

Rather than suspend accudraw I suspend accusnap which can cause so mach
trouble that people tend to turn off Accudraw to stop it.
I hold <SHIFT> & < CONTROL> keys with left hand while operating mouse with
right hand..
Releasing <SHIFT> & < CONTROL> keys return to accusnap
Works for me..

In the absence of Rob Brown's add-ons for V8, I have had to resort to
quitting (Q) and then restarting accudraw on those rare occasions where I
really need to get rid of it.
If you describe why you need to suspend it or what you are trying to do,
then maybe there is some other possibility.
