SpectreVerilog "choose anaylses" problem |
|
|
Problem Statement:
After I finish the schematic containing analog part (in spectre view)
and digital part (in verilog code). I launched the analog enviroment
from Schematic Editing window > Tools > Analog Enviroment, then I went
to newly opened window, selected "SpectreVerilog" simulator from
Setup> Simulator/Diretory/Host,and then I try to choose analysis by
going to Analysis>Choose, but the dialog window didn't pop up, instead
CIW showed the error messages:
sevEditSelectedAnas('sevSession1)
\o * Field is "pss_signalLevel" *
\e *Error* hiCreateCyclicField: Value must be a string or icon list
I guess I might missed some settings in those initial files. I looked
over the manuals but couldn't find out what is missing or wrong. Can
someone kindly tell me what goes wrong? Thanks!

I suspect you have some dodgy setting in a .cdsenv file (probably saved in
your home directory, or your working directory).
Try deleting that (or moving aside), and restarting a fresh DFII session, and
seeing if that fixes it.

Andrew.
