Hi,


I get the following error in cadence icfb when I create netlist and
simulate any new circuit drawn

Analog design environment-->simulation-->netlist and run


Delete psf data in /export/home/mvs/mvs010/cadence/simulation/activeloadinverter/spectre/schematic/psf.
generate netlist...
Loading seCore.cxt
Initializing the control file using cp:
cp /cadence/cadman/ic446/tools.sun4v/dfII/etc/si/control.spectre
/export/home/mvs/mvs010/cadence/simulation/activeloadinverter/spectre/schematic/netlist/control
Copying Spectre source file 'spectre.inp'

--> *Error* Failed to change mode for spectre.inp file.

so It doesnot allow me to simulate new circuit.
But I am able to simulate old circuits that are already simulated.

Please help me to rectify this error.

The problem is Directory, to which simulator creates files, is given a
read permission instead of read write ...permission.

I changed its permission to read write etc

it worked well

or instead change simualtor settings in analog design environment to
store on a different directory.
