Dear all,

I got a problem while doing the parasitic ext for an op amp.

The complete amplifier layout was DRC clean and passed the LVS check.
I also did RCX extracation for all the sub-blocks of the op amp. The
extraction mode was set to "RC". Everything's fine. However, when I
tried to run RCX for the complete layout, I got the following errror:
*FATAL* at "rex": res command file error - imcomplete. (the last part
of the log file which shows this error was attached below). But if I
changed the extraction mode to parasitic capacitor only, I can
successfully get the ext done. Could anyone point where the problem
is? I'm running Cadence 5.0.33 with Assura 3.1. Thanks much!
Jay

I spoke with Jay off line (he emailed me directly) and he isn't using 312USR1 -
I advised that, as I found some similar problems in 312 (which is what he is
using).

Andrew.

Dear Andrew, dear Erik,

Is there something to say about 3.12 USR1,
I was to install it very soon?

Bernd,

I don't understand what you're asking here.

Bernd:
We had several RCX problems with the base 312 release that are fixed
in the 312 USR1 release. I would recommend you move to the 312 USR1
release and hopefully your problem will disappear.
