Has anyone know how to export a TIF image from a perspective view? When
I try to do it, the perspective view cancels and returns to normal as
soon as I click the "save as" menu.

It wasn't possible in Pro/E 2001, but was possible in earlier
versions...

Thanks,

Warren

Warrenginn,

Checked it on mine, WF 2003410. I can't save a copy, but, when I print
it to a file it stays in "perspective". Set up a postscript printer,
when you go to print it to a file, just change the "xxxx.plt" to
"xxxx.ps". You just now need to convert the postscript file to tif,
which any image editor basically can do it. 5 examples of programs are,
adobe photoshop, corel photo paint, gimp (free, www.gimp.org), hijack
pro and lastly ImageMagick (free, http://www.imagemagick.org/).

I just did it in 2001. If you create a saved view of your perspective,
you can retrieve it in the middle of the "Save a Copy" command, while
the "Save a Copy" window is on the screen and after you have scrolled
down to "Tiff".
