tip of the day - weak dimensions |

If you create a feature in a part referencing an assembly (for instance a
set of mounting holes), and then you want to make it independent, you first
delete all the references and select a couple you want from the current
part. This produces a number of weak dimensions. You could click every one
of them to make them strong. But a quick way of making all the dimensions
strong is to disable Intent Manager, then re-enable it.

Interesting. You can also set the selection filter to Dimensions and
window select, then RMB and select action. Don't know that it's any
faster, but you can jump straight to Lock if you want to. |

Hey, yeah, that is pretty fast! Thanks for the tip. It's also pretty quick to drag
a fence around all the dimensions to mass select them, then hit Ctrl-T.
