Just wondering what sorts of nifty uses of block text attributes you have
made use of...

Example 1:
North arrow block with 4 attributes polar arrayed around the arrow.
Rotate the arrow as needed, then fill in the appropriately oriented
attribute with NORTH.

Example 2:
Switch/flow block with a text attribute for the switch/flow graphic
itself
After placing the block, use /_\|<-> as needed to depict the switch/flow
position/directions

Example 3:
Use characters in the Wingdings.ttf (and other fonts) for many
interesting attribute "graphics".

Not with attributes, but....

I have a routine that makes custom linetypes on the fly, one of the
choices an object is to use a character from Wingdings.

Makes nice 'arrow' linetypes, many other possibilities.
