I have been tasked to set up a small 2 workstation network to work outside of PDM/Link (different country). Does anyone know of any small scale pdm software that I may be able to use to do the basic management of the data betwwen 2 workstations linked to a central hard drive and printer via a small router. This system is set up with the intention of being as mobile as possible.
All the library parts and project directories are set up on the hard drive and the intent is to have just the working directories on the workstation laptops. I think that I have done all that I can with the config.pro and search.pro, but we cannot afford to risk lost time due to over-written data, due to simulteaneous work on the same file.
