Hi all,

can some one tell me how i can rotate grade elevations and keep them in the same spot? I have too many to do one at a time. i can use quick select and select them all together then set the rotation angle in the properties... but that rotates them and shifts them a little as well. i need to keep them in the same spot.

any ideas?

thanks cadman33619

What type of object is the 'elevation'; is it text? If it was a block with attributes, the "rotation properties" method should not have shifted them, just rotated them about the insert point.

the elevations are single line text objects. i dont suppose there is a way to convert them all to blocks.

So what part of the text signifies exactly where the elevation refers to? Is it the decimal point, or middle of the text? Either waw I can't think of an Autocad way to easily rotate themall at once. maybe a lisp routine, if there is a consistent rotation point in the text.
