I suggest here link for Free version of 3D Parametric Modelling Solution - KOMPAS-3D: http://ascon.net/download/kompas/
The functionality is very similar to SW and even more powerful in some areas, like 3D piping design, steel constructions, sheet metal. All import/export formats available. It would be interesting to hear your feed back and impressions from the solution.
