Re: License Manager Question |

You should first take a backup of your old license file.
Stop the license server.
Uninstall the old NLM.
Install the new NLM.
After that you should combine the 2002 and 2005 license files.
Start the new license server.

| Quote: | Hi, I'm installing a network version of AutoCAD 2005 on a server for 1/2
of our company. The other 1/2 of the company still needs to use the
network version of 2002 that we currently have installed. My concern came
when I went to install the Network License Manage for 2005 and noticed
that it was installing to the same place as the 2002 network license
manager. So should I hit 'next' when doing the install for the new license
manager?? Or will that mess up the 2002 manager? Thanks for the
help. -Paul |
