ok so i have an assembly that i am trying to do some FEA on in cosmos.
there are a few ways of going about this but i cant do any at the moment so all advice would be appreciated.
essentially i have two parts welded the cylindrical face to the strut. these are part of an assembly and as such i cannot fillet the two together. i have tried saving them as a part and attempting to fillet the part but it then says "laminar edges cannot be filleted?
another way would be to simulate the weld of these two joints when doing the FEA somehow but i dont know how to do this either
can anyone help?
