Hi guys,

I'm stuck on trying to create a button in AutoCAD 2008 to make my life easier.
I have to detach an xref and attach another to about 60 drawings.

Using the below macro i'm able to remove X-Align-Vertical-Track_SC but it keeps telling me that it cant find X-RCL DETAILS-D6044.dwg even though it is pointing to the correct path.

It works if i use the command line and paste C/Documents and Settings/stephen.curran/Desktop/X-RCL DETAILS-D6044.dwg directly into it but that defeats the purpose. Crying or Very sad
I'm putting it in this forum because i have no idea how to use VBA.

^C^Cfiledia 0 -xref d X-Align-Vertical-Track_SC -xref a "C/Documents and Settings/stephen.curran/Desktop/X-RCL DETAILS-D6044.dwg"

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Stephen.

I have no idea, sounds like it should work.

So then I think of illogical things...
-instead of forward slash, try double backslashes
-maybe it doesn't like the ".dwg" at the end
-try a different location for the drawing, maybe a shorter path
