Play around and see how it works. Use semicolon for enter. (space works too). backslash for a single pause. hyphen in front of commands that allow "command line" version. Start with ^C^C usually to cancel any other current command. A stab at 1:

^C^C-layer;set;"major width";;plinewid;0.02;pline;

I see where you've gone around the block a few times at Cadtutor Smile

If you can create a button & use this macro code it should do what you want. No lisp required.
Note that quotes around layer name was only necessary if name had a space in it (so macro wouldn't interpret it as an Enter).
