aloha, sportsfans..I have a question about Land Desktop 2005 Network
version.

Right now, my office is running stand alone LD's, but we are going to
migrate to a multiple-user network version very soon. Sometimes I have to
open multiple projects for field personnel.

Let say for example I am working in Project #1, one of my office mates is
working on Project #2, and my other office mate is working on Project #3. I
get a call from one of the field personnel about Project #4, which then I
open by going to the LD icon, opening up Project #4; so right now I have 2
session of LD open side by side. My offices mates also get calls and open
up other projects; so basically what we have right now is that I could have
4 projects open up at the same time, one of my office mates can have 5
projects open up at same time, and my other office mate can have 2 projects
opened up.

My question is this: can we do the same thing in the Network version of LD
2005? or will this ability to open up multiple projects be taken away from
us as we are looking at a 5 seat Network version.

Thanks.

Yes. Multiple sessions on one PC only consume one network seat.
