To improve the quality factor of inductor, pattern ground shielding is one way of doing.
In this method, we effectively shield the eddy currents flowing into the substrate.
This pattern ground shielding is done during inductor layout design.
To see this effect, does assura have any option to estimate the effects of eddy currents, magnetic filed etc. By just doing assura RCX it is meaningless.
