I am trying to create a deployment image using sp1 for MDT2005. the readme
says to create an msp file from the exe with a /e switch, but the network
installation wizard tells me it's not a valid update file. I can't even get
out of gates yet.
any suggestions?

Hi!

I just faced the same kind of problem with AutoCAD 2005. Running the /e switch alone is not enough as it doesn't create the msp file out of the exe. The correct syntax is
<local drive:>\<patch name>\ /e <local drive:>\<patch name>.msp

Hope it helps!

Michael
