rant/

I'm using not only AutoCAD2007 but Microstation V8 2004.

I must say that there are some (I'm using the some word very liberally) pluses (but alot more negatives) for Microstation. But honestly, overall its a pain in the a** to use! I hate this program. Autodesk should just buy out Bentley, incorperate the few "good" aspects of it. Other than that its horrid. No need to take 10 steps (In microstation), to 1 step in Autocad. I dont have an example, just making a statement of what it feels like.

i use microstation at work, and yes, it is a pain to do some things. But the database aspect is very powerful. I don't know if ACAD has the same type of system??

I may be able to help you out if you can give me some examples.

Learning microstation after Autocad can be extremely frustrating, but many of the tools are identical but just are named/work in different ways.
