I am the president of Gemini CAD Solutions, LLC, which is a cad consulting company based in northern Utah. The cad system we exclusively use is SolidWorks 2006, which I have personally been using for over 6 years in many different industries such as medical, military, computer hardware, and consumer products. Using SolidWorks allows us to develop more accurate and reliable product designs through the unmatched 2D and 3D capabilities of SolidWorks mechanical design solutions. We share product design information and collaborate more effectively via the internet using innovative SolidWorks design communication and collaboration tools.
I have worked in the product development business for a total of 8 years and in 5 of those years I have gained experience in machining, prototyping, and developing sheet metal, plastic, and fiberglass components. Although I do not have an ME degree I have obtained an associates degree in Industrial Design and have the equivalent work experience which also gives me valuable resources to professional engineers who could evaluate the designs I produce. The engineers I have available to me have over 20 years of experience in design, manufacturing, machining and product development. I am confident that we can tackle any project that is given to us and complete it within the timeframe available and proposed budget. Our rate varies based upon project requirements, complexity and due date. However we will try to be flexible enough to fit into each project’s budget.
