Hello all, when ever I try to plot a DWG I get the following message right after I execute the plot command.

"\\gwserver\QMS: This plotter configuration cannot be used for one of these reasons: the driver cannot be found, the device cannot be found, or the driver has a problem. The None plot device has been substituted. "

Once you click OK in this error dialog box, you go to the normal plot dialog box were you can pick the plotter, paper size whatever…..

A little background info. First all, as you can see in the error message, it is looking for the plotter on the GWserver. We have since replaced it with a new server that is now called HPserver. Another thing, we have also replaced the QMS printer with a OKI 3037.

I’m thinking that I’m getting this message because AutoCAD always tries to use the previous plot.

Question My question: is there a way to, either in Windows or AutoCAD to eliminate this message? Is it possible to have AutoCAD use a default printer/plotter regardless of the previous plot?
