Layout dynamic highlighting lpp? |
|
|
Does anyone know which layer purpose pair in the drf file is used for
dynamic highlighting in the virtuoso layout editor?
Or is there any other method to change the appearance? Specifically, I
would like to make the outline more obvious or change the color or
something.
thanks,
Jose

Can you explain what you mean with dynamic highlighting?

When you move the mouse pointer over an object(you don't need to click
it), the outline of that object will be highlighted to indicate that if
you click now, that (mildly) highlighted object will be selected. This
is what I mean(and Cadence means, I assume) by dynamic highlighting...

I tried changing the colors of these y0 to y9 layers and I guess that
didn't seem to work - at least in schematic composer. |

No, they aren't, I asume there are some internal one,
not visible in the system layer layer section of the techfile.

To change y0 to y9 layers, think to change the ones attached to your
reference library. |

Also notice the width of these hilite layers. ( and the order they are
defined!)
