The message was dated 10/7/2005. It may have been solved a long time ago
but the person with the question only asked on Friday. They may have
only dl'ed the newest 500 messages and never saw the original question.
I sort messages by date, newest first and check posted date before
responding because I did make that mistake ...ONCE

Right click the setup.exe, select properties, then set compatibility to
windows 98. Should install okay after that.

I gave my AutoCAD 2000 to a young woman just starting out and
unbeknownst to me, it will not run on her system under WinXP Home
Edition. (I used it on a system running Win2000 Pro.)
Is there any way for her to get it to install on her system ?
Thanks in advance for any tips that you may have to offer.
