Global Display and Reference File Problems |

Basically what I am doing is making cut sheets which reference in an alignment file. The problem is that when I try to turn off levels in the alignment files via global display the changes do not appear in the cut sheets. The reference file is being refreshed. The save settings upon exit feature is on.
I have found that if I detach and reattach the reference file the changes show up. I have also found a work around by just going into the cut sheet level manager and selecting all levels and turning off the level in question. However both of these options are time consuming. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks.
